Just wondering if anyone knows how to airplay the sound from DMDJ to Apple Home Pods without duplicating the devises screen on a rooms TV?
I ask as find this tool very useful but would rather my players do not see what I'm getting ready to cue up or removing items on our screen that they need to see

Interesting question...
I don't have any extra devices to test this
From the top of my head, I have a question about this, How does iOS handle multiple devices on AirPlay?
I mean, do they offer a menu to select and/or mix the receivers?

Not totally sure
I ca send music straight to the speakers
Or to the display and speakers
But not from the app as I have to use airplay via screen mirror
I will uninstall one of my pods and move it to another room and see if I can pair up to just it

I've never tested that workflow.
Unfortunately, you're the first to register in our new forums, so there are no other people with so many Apple devices here to test things together.
On the good side, you're VIP as you have all of our attention, hehehe.
Let us know how it goes.

Can you explain what your exact setup is? Homepods don't have a screen, so where is the screen showing then? You should be able to select just the Homepods.
To answer your question:
- Open Control Center (swipe from right corner)
- Long Press the music player
- select the Airplay Icon
- Choose your Homepods (but not any TV/Apple TV connected to your Homepods).
- Exit Control Center and open DMDJ, the music should be playing on your speakers.

Nice!
It seems that this is the best way to do it. Connect your device to the Homepods and then DMDJ will playback through this because the system directs the audio there.
This should be the most compatible way to do it.
Ads have you tried this?

Sounds like a valid workflow.
